Dive Around The Clock aka D.A.T.C.

THIS YEARS EVENT IS
FRIDAY JULY 19TH
STARTING AT 4PM SHARP
24 HRS IN THE WATER
The event is the brainchild of TL Sea staff instructors Kyle Larson and Larry Trenda. In 2006, both divers declared they wanted to bring the Puget Sound Dive community together in order to give back to the community. After much searching and reviewing candidates, Seattle Children's Hospital, specifically their Cancer Research Program was finally chosen as the beneficiary.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Dive Around the Clock (DATC) is to bring together the scuba diving community for an annual 24-hour scuba diving relay dive-a-thon charity event with the aim of educating and raising awareness about childhood cancer and to raise funds, benefiting Children’s Cancer Research, to be used to advance medical research into the diagnosis, treatment and cure of childhood cancers.
VISION STATEMENT
The vision of Dive Around the Clock (DATC) is to see a day when children and their parents no longer see childhood cancers as life-threatening, where treatment of such is non-evasive and to ultimately see a world without childhood cancers.
